colourful Suva produce market, seeing a movie, or visiting the Fiji Museum or
Handicraft Centre. There are plenty of coffee shop cafes and restaurants, fast
food outlets such as MacDonalds, hotel restaurants, and night clubs.

reef also offers some Suva scuba diving possibilities.
Suva Rainforest Hiking
The city of Suva is backed by scenic craggy highlands, and not too far from
the city can be found the Raintree Lodge, an award-winning Ecotourism lodge and
one of the best budget resorts in the greater Suva area. It is located adjacent
to the Colo-I-Suva Forest Park, where bushwalking trails lead to waterfalls and
forest pools for barbecues, picnics and swimming.
Birdwatching in SuvaBird-watching is popular;
commonly seen birds here include the Barking Pigeon, Blue-crested Broadbill, Collared Lory, Golden Dove, Golden Whistler, Fiji Goshawk, Island Thrush, Scarlet Robin, various Honeyeaters, Vanikoro Broadbill, and the Sulphur-Breasted
Musk Parrot. Suva is therefore popular with birders.
Suva Golf
If golfing is your game, there is the public Suva Golf Course located on the
eastern side of the Suva peninsula. The famous Vijay Singh has played this
course in the early days of his golfing career.
